Verdict

COSTA DEL SOL (1) does look the one simply based on the promise shown at his first outing. He sat just off them a fortnight back and ran on by. It was expected going off the betting however you still have to see it and he did it well. MAGURTZ (2) has found one better at each of his last three efforts. He will be fitter, draws better and so can take up a decent position in transit. SUTTON STORM (3) was solid enough in a very similar race two weeks ago. Not going to find this any easier but does race with consistency. ARCHAIC FORCE (5) has a poor strike rate but is never ever far away. Bounced back to form with a second place run at Mudgee after a less-than-encouraging seventh at Port Macquarie two back. Further improvement can see him in the finish.
