CLAUDIO (10) improved sharply last start when lining up for the second time, leading from the outset to record a tough maiden win over 5 ½f at Dubbo. Back in trip but has the natural speed to be equally as effective. Progressive three-year-old who is capable of taking this next step. BRIGHELLA (12) has been a model of consistency of late. Racked up a fifth consecutive top three finish last time out when beaten under a length over 5f at Tamworth. Makes his own luck up on the speed and should be prominent again. EQUITABLE (11) disappointed at his latest appearance at Tamworth after a tough maiden win at the same track the run prior. Lightly raced five-year-old who draws a nice gate and deserves another chance. ZAMPANO (1) won at his final run last campaign at Tamworth but was plain first up when 15th over 5f at Randwick. Better suited here and can make an impact.
