ZUBBA STORM (3) hit the frame two starts ago at Gosford but ran below par last time at Randwick when clearly below his best. Ideally placed back in this grade and can bounce back sharply and is sure to play a pivotal role. BLUE DE BEERS (4) is a promising four-year-old gelding who returned from a break last start and finish third over 4f at Narromine. Better with that run under his belt and is drawn to advantage. Can give this a big shake. SORT CHA MESS (7) has registered four minor placings from four runs this preparation. Turned in another good performance last start when second over 4f at Ipswich. Has his share of talent and is sure to be right there again. ASTAPOR (1) showed good early dash at the first run after a spell last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing third over 5f at Emerald. Should give backers a sight again. ZAMPANO (2) returns and looks best of the rest.
