CALVARY (15) was entered for an earlier race on the card over further but looks well placed here. Ran a better race last time when dropping back to 5 ½f at Gatton. Doesn't win out of turn but this is a weak line-up and gets chance. COPPER STAR (1) did a good job last start to finish third at Grafton over 6f, beaten 0.6 lengths. Cherry-ripe now. Will prove hard to beat. RESOLUTE LADY (9) was a four length fifth fresh at Rocky and will strip much fitter off a long break. Can improve sharply. CLAW MACHINE (4) was a maiden winner fresh then fourth in weaker company last time. Can do much better.
