STORM FORCE TEN (4) returns after a spell of 17 months. Looking to emulate his win at Ipswich when returning from a spell last prep. Sure to make his presence felt while fresh. LIGHTNING STRIKES (3) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on July 28, finishing sixth and beaten 6 lengths over 6f at Toowoomba. Lining up today for the first time for trainer Jason Edwards and rates a definite top-three chance. REEBAR (14) gets 3lbs weight relief with the claim and is usually thereabouts. Can earn another cheque.

A slip or a duck from a horse trying to leave the starting gates, often caused by the surface giving way under the feet. This can range from a mild misstep to a stumble down to their knees.

Yielding

A rain-soaked turf condition often producing a slick or heavy course and slower finish times.

Also Eligible

A horse that is entered but does not draw into the body of the field due to too many entries, and thus is not permitted to start unless there are enough scratches to shrink the field size.
