HUGHIE (1) did not cope with the St George picnic circuit as the favourite when making his Queensland debut there 10 days ago. He has the pole position, and he had won 2 races on the bounce in Victoria before that last run by leading all the way in August, so follow your money in this. PUROSANGUE (11) has fought on well in each of his 2 starts back from a spell, and he can put himself right on the early speed here from a good gate. He is peaking at the right time, and can take this out at value. I SEE YOU COMING (6) was beaten by a wide gate at the Gold Coast last time out, and he will appreciate a 4lbs claim this time. He is worth another chance from a superior gate. BEE EXACT (9) was a convincing winner at a recent Nanango picnic meeting just over 3 weeks ago, and the rise in class here will hold no fears for him, Keep him safe in all combos, especially from a handy draw.
