Verdict

AVERRED (3) strode forward early from his wide draw to settle just off the lead last start then lifted to score by one length at this track over 7 ½f. Sure to measure up again. DECARBONISE (5) showed good early speed from the inside draw last time and stalked the lead before fading to finish sixth over 1 ?m at Gold Coast. Will be handy in the run and should prove hard to run down. GOLD DAZZLER (1) was too good for a maiden field last start over 7f at Gatton, scoring by a nose. Tougher task this time but expected to be competitive again. MAEVE (8) has hit the top-five in ten of her past 11 starts and is a must for the exotics players.
