Verdict

FIERCENESS (5) ran into a very promising one in Aethelwulf two back, then made light work of his rivals at Nowra over this trip. Gets in well with the 7lbs claim and can make it two on the bounce. MAGENTA SKIES (11) blew the start but made good late ground when fresh from a ten-month break in a BM72 over 7f at Randwick recently. Has only been to the races four times. Perfectly placed back at this level over an extra 1f. TOM CRUISING (7) showed a glimpse of form at Newcastle last start and on his day is capable of testing this field. DOLCE DIOR (9) returns sort of her best but was a winner over the mile early in the prep at Canberra last campaign. Not dismissing completely.
