Verdict

DIACON (5) has found the line well to pick up a couple of minor prizes since returning from a spell, the latest over this distance at Wyong. Lightly raced filly who continues to improve and this looks a winnable race at the third run back. It has been 72 weeks since LIGHTHOUSE LASS (7) won her maiden but recent efforts have been encouraging. Not the best away but rallied late to finish fourth last time out over this trip at Newcastle. Just needs luck from a sticky gate to be right in the thick of things. ELLISMAYNE (9) backs up seven days after tiring to finish sixth over 7f at Newcastle. Best form comes at this trip. Wide gate the only knock. GAELIC GEM (12) did a good job to hold on for third when resuming over 5f at Wyong recently. Far better placed out to 6f and she gets all the favours from the inside alley. TESSY TEE (14) was poor last start but has been freshened up and a tongue tie goes on so give her another chance.
