Verdict

DRUMFIRE (4) resumes for the sharp Waterhouse & Bott stable. Won on debut to launch the last campaign over 5f at Muswellbrook before going on to tackle smart 2YO company. Fitter for a recent trial win at Rosehill. Will be tough to beat. MONTE MAXIMUS (7) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to just miss when second over this trip at Goulburn. A repeat of the latest effort will see him in the finish again. GOOLOO BUCKY (1) settled well back then came home powerfully to score by a nose over this distance at Wagga last time out. Tougher now but deserves respect. SKY DECK (9) accounted for a maiden field in style here last start when fresh from a break. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Harder task ahead this time but can measure up. BOLD AND BLAZEN (5) resumes and boasts peaks that can measure up but may need the run with just the one trial under his belt.
