AU - Kembla Grange - Race 4

COOL LAD (3) was enormous first-up at Mudgee then backed that up with a barnstorming win over this trip at Gosford last start, slicing through the pack to get up in the shadow of the post. Suited on this bigger track in a small field so a repeat performance is on the cards. WOOTTON WAY (4) returns from a 20-week spell. Progressed nicely in her maiden campaign, culminating in a last start win over 6 ¼f at Canterbury. Two recent trials should have her ready to make her mark while fresh. HELLOVA NATURE (5) produced a real eye-catcher in a $50k race over this distance at Tamworth last time, making up a stack of ground to grab second. Ready to peak after three runs back from a spell. TAKE THE RAP (1) has enjoyed a nine-week let-up since a couple of plain efforts to kick off the latest prep. Trialled well at Queanbeyan recently and has found the right race to turn things around. FORCEFILLY (7) strips fitter and is open to plenty of improvement.
