REELFLARE (9) settled midfield then worked home okay without ever looking the winner on debut last start over 7 ½f at Newcastle. Bred to want a bit of ground so coming back to 7f is the query, but in a race devoid of quality she gets her chance. MOORDYUP (7) was well in commission first-up over this course and distance but lacked a change of gears and finished well back. Given a bit of time since that run by Joe Pride. Respect the market opinion last time and give her another chance. IMPERIAL CODE (3) was there on the bend but the wheels started spinning on the heavy track on debut in May. Gai and Adrian have given her three trials leading into this. Can certainly turn things around on firmer footing. BILLAPALOOLA (5) made late inroads but never looked a chance first-up over 6 ½f at Hawkesbury. Can improve over an extra ½f on a bigger track. SCRAP (10) wasn't far away at Hawkesbury last start and should be peaking now at the third run back.
