Verdict

ENCRYPTIX (1) raced handy all the way and created a good impression on debut last start, beaten just over a length over 5 ½f at Gosford. Won't have any issues with an extra ½f and from a better draw he gets every chance to go one better. SPONARS (6) is back from a 24-week spell. Was well in commission right through the last campaign but didn't quite meet expectations. Two recent trials have resulted in wins by big margins so he may have turned the corner this prep. BANNER BANNER (2) went back to last after an early check then gathered momentum late to finish midfield over 5 ½f at Hawkesbury recently. An extra ½f on a roomier track sets this up nicely. INCREMENTAL (5) was ridden more aggressively last start and held on well for second over 6 ¼f at Newcastle. Right in contention with a similar performance today. SKY DECK (12) warmed up late on debut recently at this track. Not sure 6f is ideal but there should be improvement to come.
