WAR BANNER (6) is a Waterhouse/Bott-trained debutant by Snitzel from the Group 2 Rubiton winner Heatherly. Has won his last three trials in good style, the two most recent in October. Fully wound up to make a successful start to his career. RAIN DELAY (1) copped interference on more than one occasion so did a good job to finish second on debut over this distance at Rosehill last start. Won't find as much depth to this maiden so with a bit more luck he is a key contender. Stablemate SACRED VOW (7) was in the market on debut recently over 5 ½f at Hawkesbury but couldn't quicken from back in the field and missed the placings. Worth another chance on this bigger track over an extra ½f. BRUTAL ADVANCE (2) put in a sequence of three seconds in a row, the two most recent here at this trip, before a mediocre effort at Wyong last Thursday. Nine-time placegetter who should go in all the exotics. AMAZONE (3) is yet to show his best but might be worth monitoring in betting first-up.
