AU - Kembla Grange - Race 1

LEON RUBEN (4) raced wide but still kept coming to finish fourth last start over 7 ¼f at the Illawarra Grange circuit. Drops 3.5kgs under today's scale and should enjoy the extra trip. Can win a very shallow maiden. WIZARD'S STAR (9) raced handy and whacked away to hang on for a distant third last time out over 1 ¼m at Hawkesbury. Back in trip is not ideal but he is rock hard fit after three runs back and should play a role in the outcome. FLYING ARABESQUE (1) stalked the pace and wasn't beaten all that far last Saturday over 7f at this track. Sparingly raced four-year-old who steps up to the mile at the right time. MY CARTOUCHE (5) improved sharply last start at Wyong at the third run back from a spell. Big chance if she can hold that form. STAY QUIET (7) disappointed at Newcastle recently but is worth another chance with blinkers on for the first time.
