Verdict

WONKA (7) returns for a second campaign. Raced once so far and made a little late ground to finish fourth at Warwick Farm over 6f on 15 April. Two recent trials should have him ready to fire first-up. ARGANSORT (1) started favourite on debut over 6f at Canterbury 17 days ago and was a shade disappointing, just whacking away evenly to finish fifth. Deserves another chance over a slightly longer trip back at provincial level. ADAPTATION (3) did his best work late but just missed the placings when fresh from a spell over 6f at Canterbury recently. Strips fitter and draws closer this time so he should feature in the finish. SKYSTONE (4) was ridden more aggressively last start and held on well for second over this course and distance. Progressing nicely and should give a good account again. CONCRETE STORM (8) resumed with a decent effort at Wyong last time out and is open to plenty of improvement.
