WALK LIKE A MAN (4) indicated a win was imminent when sitting on the speed in the soft (7) going at his second run back to finish a narrow second over 1m at this track. Has the speed to get across and shapes as the main danger. BELGRANO (1) consistent gelding unlucky to have shed his Maiden tag. First run for the Kell yard he chased the tearaway leader to go under narrowly when a narrow second over 7 ¼f at Queanbeyan. Ready for the mile and the 7lbs claim keeps him in the calculations. MERITAGE (8) snagged back from the outside gate and never looked a winning prospect when fourth over 7 ½f at this track. Can race closer from the good draw and can figure prominently.
