ARTISTIC ENDEAVOUR (4) opened this prep with a maiden win at Doomben but has probably been looking for more ground in two subsequent outings. Has raced three times at the mile for two placings. At his peak fourth-up in this most suitable contest. SHEDRIVESABENTLEY (10) has begun awkwardly and had to come from last on the bend at her last two runs, most recently coming home well to be beaten under two lengths over 6 ¾f at Doomben. Has won at this trip and should be ready to hit her straps after three runs back. MAPLE DOOR (5) missed the kick then found the line fairly over 1 ?m at the Gold Coast recently. Best form comes at the mile and the veteran should be rock hard fit now. TULONG (7) has been just off the placegetters at two appearances this time in work. Best form comes at this trip so a sharp improvement looks on the cards. LOCH AWE (8) is yet to miss the frame in six runs over this trip, including three at Ipswich. Must come under consideration.
