Verdict

RASHFORD (2) stepped up to 1 m at Doomben in stronger beaten 2.4L. He's still shy of his best and fourth up looks well placed to deliver his third win for the Munce yard. Has won this course/distance and a handy 3lbs claim. COOL RUNNING (6) turned his form around winning a CL1 over a mile on a heavy track at the Sunshine Coast. He has comparable figures on dry surfaces and the premier jockey is reunited. Doubt the rail is ideal but he can feature with average luck. SAN JOSE BOY (3) rates well enough but jumps from the outside barrier. Disappointed heavily backed here 26 days ago and the winkers go on again to keep him focused. Thompson is reunited offsetting somewhat the gate disadvantage. SIMPLY FUN (4) peaks and finally draws an inside barrier. His form last preparation would have him right in it.
