Verdict

BLUEPINOT (13) stalked the pace then was far too good over this distance at Doomben last start when second-up from a spell. Tackling a better race today but drops a huge 6kgs and has further improvement to come. SILVER WEDDING (10) showed a wonderful turn of foot to easily put away her BM85 rivals when fresh from a spell over 5f at Eagle Farm three weeks ago. Lightly raced mare who will relish the extra trip at this stage of the prep. No placings from three second-up runs is the only knock. Consistent sprinter DAGGERS (6) led and looked home only to be nailed by a couple near the line recently over 7f at Eagle Farm. Has a very strong SP profile this prep but is not turning a profit for followers. Sure to be highly competitive again. SUNSET DREAMING (4) edged Daggers out of second when they clashed at the Farm three weeks ago. Handy mare who will be rock hard fit after three runs back. OUROBOROS (3) goes fast but is on trial at 6 ¾f so the final ½f might be an issue.

Dual acceptor. Second-up. First-up after four months was well back until straightening, raced back then made ground from the turn, won by 2.5 len at Eagle Farm Bm85 May 30 over 5f on a soft track defeating Manolo Bling with 120lbs at $6.50. Previously second-up 6th of 9 at Rosehill F&M Bm78 on November 8 over 5 ½f, 4 len behind Weeping Woman carrying 122lbs at $8. The one to beat based on that latest effort. Back in fine order and should be right in the mix.

Recent form sound. Last start set the pace for much of the race 3rd of 13 at Eagle Farm Bm85 on May 30 over 7f, slow going long-neck behind Bengal Diamond with 128lbs at $3. The start before that favourite, won by 1.5 len at Gold Coast Bm78 May 9 over 7f defeating Pasima carrying 130lbs at $2.05. Racing well and the numbers say he will be in the finish again.
