CONTINGENCY (1) missed a whisker over 1 ?m in an Open 3 at Eagle Farm before the spell and resumed with a 1L defeat at the Gold Coast over 7f this grade. Proven second-up and is suited stepping up in trip. Maps well and will be tough to beat. KOZAK PRINCE (2) resumed over 7f at the Sunshine Coast off a try at Group 3 level and spaced a CL1 field. He has more to give over this distance, and he's also proven second-up. He can make the finish. LONESOME SOUL (3) came back to a sprint in stronger at Doomben and didn't have the best of it. Was beaten a lip in an Open 3 at Eagle Farm over 1 ?m at the back of the previous campaign, so has the ability. Peaks look for her to come late. MADAME CODY (7) resumes and was beaten narrowly over 1 ?m at Eagle Farm when last seen on race day. Won a recent trial over 6f at Deagon in an Open 3. Kicks off at 1 ¹/16m rather than sprinting at her previous fresh runs, and that sparks some interest.
