HERMIONE PRANCER (5) was switched from Sydney by Waller and was quickly back on track recording a gutsy Maiden win over 7f at Eagle Farm. He may have to do it the hard way again but finds a smaller field and Maloney's booking is a decent push for his chances. BUSKER (3) was expected to win a 60 this track/trip two weeks ago and had too much to do. He's a third-up winner with more up his sleeve. Gets in well with the 4lbs claim and has to be considered. OUR JEWEL (8) resumes and has switched to the smart Vandyke yard. He's raced well fresh and owns a Sunshine Coast trial win. Jumps from the inside gate and Thompson's booking suggests she'll go well. Keep a close eye on the betting moves. CAITLIN (4) trialled well and was backed off the map winning a Toowoomba Maiden on debut. Keeps the handy 4lbs claim and while this is a step-up, she looks has to be kept onside.

Exacta

A bet selecting the first and second horses in a race in the correct order. An exacta box refers to paying a little more to ensure they can finish in either order.

State-Bred

A horse bred in a particular state and thus eligible to race in restricted state-bred races. These can be anything from maiden races to stakes events.

Bobble/Stumble

A slip or a duck from a horse trying to leave the starting gates, often caused by the surface giving way under the feet. This can range from a mild misstep to a stumble down to their knees.
