HANNABANA (6) returned a good figure two back when beaten under two lengths over 6f at the Sunshine Coast. Couldn't maintain the pressure on-speed over 5f at the same circuit last start. Cherry ripe after three runs back and today's race looks a much better fit. AEROPOWER (2) broke through for his maiden win at the sixth attempt last time out, getting home with a bit to spare over 5f at Dalby. Racing well deep into the maiden campaign. This is not out of reach. ENCHAANTED (5) showing a nice change of gears when it mattered to pick up her first win recently over 6f at Kilcoy. Lightly raced filly with more to offer. RIVA D'AMOR (4) has been in the money at all three runs this prep. Caught the eye late at the Gold Coast over 5f last start. Down in class and not out of the contest. MISS ZERMATT (1) backs up seven days after a nice first-up effort over today's journey at Beaudesert. Has good second-up stats so she should hold the form.

Allowance Race

A race with non-claiming conditions set by the racing secretary. They are meant to be a step down from stakes racing.

Claiming Race

A race in which horses are entered for a certain price, or claiming tag, which is also their sales price. An owner can claim any horse entered for the tag before the race begins, and owns them as soon as the gates open.

Pari-Mutuel

A pool style wagering system, where all money input through betting is divided among those with winning tickets (save for various deductions by the track operators).
