PISTON REBEL (2) resumed with a 1.3L defeat over 1 m at Doomben and then couldn't have been more impressive in a CL3 at Eagle Farm, beaten just 1L after settling last from a wide gate. Pulled up with mild heat stress there last time, and forgiving. Has started two times at this course and distance for a win and a placing. Back in grade today and will be hard to roll. HEROIC REBEL (1) missed a whisker here over 1 m and then found one better over 1m at Eagle Farm in a CL1 beaten 2.5L and jumping favourite again. He will keep improving for the premier metro stable, and Moor replaces the apprentice. Maps for the run of the race and is a winning chance. OUR JEWEL (9) peaks and is on the improve. Placed over 1 m here two back and then missed the placings, beaten 2.7L at the track, dropping back to a sprint. Carries 7lbs less, and the step-up to 1 ¹/16m should suit. Ben Thompson sticking aboard is a decent push for her chances. KIDS INTHE KITCHEN (3) next best off the Maiden win here.
