Progressive stayer OLD FAITHFUL (1) continued his good form of late with a game third over 1 ?m at the Sunshine Coast last start where he led the field for home. Might be able to control things in front and will prove tough to catch. PENDING LIST (5) caught the eye two back at Beaudesert then battled on gamely in a better race than this at the Gold Coast last time, just missing the placings over 1 ?m. Tough stayer who is a big chance back in this company. I DROVE ALL NIGHT (4) made a sustained run to collect his maiden win recently over 1 ³/16m at Toowoomba. New to this trip but he keeps finding in his races so expect him to run it out. IMAREALAMERICAN (10) ran on stoutly to get up for third over the mile at Grafton last start. Question mark at this trip but worth including in exotics. BOW TIE AFFAIR (2) did a reasonable job at Grafton last time when attempting a staying trip for the first time. Open to improvement.
