TROIKA (7) resumed this track/trip at this level and looked a run short. He has more up the sleeve and he's won twice second-up. Has been kept on the fresh side and maps to give every chance. SLIPPIN' JIMMY (4) has had two runs back in city grade and should be ready to show more like his best. Switches back 1 ½f and Ben Thompson is a key jockey engagement replacing the 7lbs apprentice. Some trust required, but he's in good hands and is likely to go close. LUBRICATION (1) has raced at Group and Listed level his last three and is much better placed in this company. Comes back to 5 ½f off a freshen and the 4lbs claim off sets some of the extra weight. Has to be kept onside. MASTER SHOWMAN (2) tries hard and loves racing here. The 4lbs claim is handy, and he can get into the finish.
