Has an awkward barrier but will likely push forward, and the in-form Ben Thompson is a key jockey switch. GRAM (1) resumed in the same contest and led before folding up badly when well supported. He'd switched from a top Victorian stable and had come off a 1.3L defeat at Caulfield Heath. Jones replaces Thompson, and she's likely to skip across and ride the speed. Has the ability and quick improvement is on the cards. BEAR OIL (5) debuts and has won his last three trials. 4lbs claiming apprentice Jett Newman sticks from the two most recent, and the blinkers are applied.
