Very open race to kick off Cup Day. ZOUSTROLOGY (11) scored two big wins in a row over 5 ½f at this track then had a month between runs when a shade disappointing over 6f here last time. Fitter for this and might be looking for this trip now. TRAFALGAR SQUARE (6) started favourite first-up over 6f here and she did a fine job to score by a long neck after coming from next to last on the corner in a small field. That was her first run since joining the Munce camp from David Payne. Yet to place in four second-up runs but in new surrounds she might change that. SMEXY (2) has struggled in better races than this since winning over today's trip at Doomben in April. Beautifully drawn and can bounce back. DAVIKAR (13) made a long run from last in the early stages to just miss the placings when resuming over 6f at Doomben recently. Won here at this trip last prep so there is improvement to come. HELLARIOUS (17) has been outstanding this prep and is a chance with the light weight.
