Verdict

Very good race of half a dozen chances. PERSPIRATION (1) resumed in city class in Melbourne and struggled on the heavy ground. Form back in Tassie is first rate for this and looks the class runner off the field. IN THE OCEAN (7) is a consistent type who kicked off with a near miss fresh and can only be fitter. Expected to feature again. ALVARINHO (4) is having her first run since February 25. Goes well when fresh with three wins and two placings from nine starts. Resuming in easier grade and should run well. THESPIAN WATERS (6) goes well here and will be winding up strongly. FURNEAUX (8) is racing well and tackling a deeper field but hard to knock winning form.
