THE BIG FELLA (5) was heavily bet on debut and after pushing forward from a wide gate folded right up late. Has since won a trial in style. Better for the run and worth another chance. Stablemate GEEGEES AVALANCHE (1) is a gelding by Wordsmith making debut and has won both trials. Anticipating a bold run. Another of the Gandy runners is another first starter WINDARA ROCK IT (7), who is a six-year-old making a belated debut. Easy trial winner and expected to run well off the low draw. SAVAGE RIVER (3) was close to a win before a break but will be winding up late this sharp trip.
