MAYWEATHER (1) resumes for his second prep. Was stirred up before the race and ran accordingly with a dismal last over 6f at Newcastle on October 19, 2024. Fitted with the two trials and gelded over the break. Sharp improver. LATEST FLAME (8) is a Savabeel filly from the stakes-winner Melt on debut for the Widdup stable. Wasn't knocked about in the two trials and will be strong late. LEGASELLI (9) resumes. Raced without luck in Group company, including her last start twelfth in the G3 Baillieu over 7f at Rosehill last March. Two good trials should have her forward enough for this.
