KING COBAMA (12) deep into the campaign now and gets a more economical run after sticking on to secure second over 7f at Beaudesert. Scored a determined win over this trip at Gatton two back. Best figures should see him run well. VALOURI (14) progressive mare looking for this trip and further now. Slow into stride on resumption and gave away too much start with a plugging ninth over 6f at this track. Lone win came at this distance and expecting a much better run today. SPICY WINGS (10) impressive winner first up from the outside gate when he swooped late to score a comfortable win over 6f at Murwillumbah. Will continue to improve and this looks well within his grasp. SATIN AND CASH (13) starting to hit her straps with the two wins from the last four outings. Struggled to see the mile out with a plugging fourth over 1m at Coffs Harbour. Can make amends over her preferred trip.
