MASHEAN (10) improving mare who was three weeks between runs when he faded late to run fourth over 5f at the Sunshine Coast. Blinkers go on from the rails draw and will take catching. HAYLEY'S ROCKET (7) jumped in trip and failed to let down in the straight when she folded up to run a dismal last as fav over 6f at this circuit. Back to her right trip and stays in the mix. MONACO FLYER (12) justified the short price with an all-the-way win over 5 ½f at this track in weaker company. Saves his best for the home track and not to be overlooked. EVER SO READY (9) resumed from a spell last start and did well to finish third at Warwick over 4f, 1.5 lengths from the winner. Should appreciate the extra distance second-up and the weight drop. Worth consideration.
