KAHLUA GIRL (9) improved sharply last time out when lining up for the second time this prep, hitting the lead upon straightening only to be nailed on the line over 5 ½f at the Gold Coast. Big chance in what looks a slightly easier race. MISS MADIGAN (12) raced handy but dropped out at the end of 7f here recently. Worth another chance coming back in distance on a seven-day turnaround. DIZZY DEE (10) won a Class 1 over a similar distance here three runs back. Has showed pace and been competitive in the subsequent outings. Will race on the speed again and is capable of featuring in the finish. VELOCE METEOR (3) was beaten less than a length in a BM66 over 5 ½f at this track two runs back. Failed since in better company at the Gold Coast but back in a BM58 here he makes plenty of appeal. CRITICAL TIME (2) hasn't been a threat of late but does save his best form for this circuit.
