HARD AS BROK (4) handy gelding resuming. Came to the end of his prep with a tiring last over 1m at Eagle Farm on July 29. Fitted with the 5f trial win and gets a senior jockey from the good barrier. Top three contender. WHY WAIT (6) won well first up, then sent to town when never on the track from the outside barrier to run last over 5 ½f at Doomben. Winning rider hops back aboard in a weaker contest. COPENHAGEN CAT (8) has her hoof on the till after the three sound runs and will relish the 9lbs claim again. Was a month between runs when nailed late to run second over 6f here. Similar set-up today and sure to be thereabouts. CITY OF TEARS (3) fourth up for this and finally drawn a decent barrier. Shouldered the 128lbs for a gritty fifth over 5f at Coffs Harbour. Senior rider goes on for this and no surprise to see her take this out.
