Verdict

MRS GOLDBERG (9) started in the red but missed the placings when resuming over 5 ?f at Lismore last start. Led all the way to win over 5f at her only other run back in August. Better for that last outing and with luck from a wide gate can return to winning ways. AUSTRALASIA (10) was too good for a $1.50 pop two back then got too far back last time out over 5f at Ballina, making good late ground but never threatening. Handy filly who comes right into contention over this more suitable trip. LA CACHE A VIN (8) backs up seven days after an eye-catching third over 5 ½f at Armidale. Has been in the frame just once in 13 visits to Grafton which is hard to ignore, but that run last Sunday was a flashing light effort. AMAYA'S SECRET (3) was seven weeks between runs when she failed to beat one home over 4f at Ipswich recently. Better for that run and this is a more suitable contest. PRINCE OF PROPHETS (6) resumes. Will be better for the run but can sneak into the finish.
