Verdict

BOOYA BOY (2) was very good two back at the Sunshine Coast when beaten under a length over 5f. Wasn't the best away and failed to recover last start at Ipswich over 5 ½f. Finds the right race to bounce back to form. PERMISSION GRANTED (1) was just beaten in a thriller two back over this course and distance then really struggled on a heavy track at Ballina a fortnight ago in a run worth overlooking. Perfectly drawn to make amends. THE DUX NUTS (4) gave away a big start on the corner then stormed home to miss narrowly over 5f at Tamworth recently. Sure to prove tough to hold out over this more suitable journey. RELEASETHEWOLVES (11) went within a whisker of pulling off a boil-over win over 6 ¼f at Taree last start. Worth following now that she is back in form. The lightly raced RED CHICK (5) will find this easier than her last start fifth at Gosford. Should give a good account.
