Drops sharply in weight from the awkward gate and has solid each-way prospects. MR CHAPLIN (10) imported gelding who scored a tough win first-up, then not that far away in a tight finish when third over 7 ½f at Rosehill. Can stalk the speed and take a ton of beating with McEvoy keeping the ride. KRONENBOURG (3) comes down from Brisbane after running some respectable races over the Queensland carnival. Has the speed to get across and can give a ton of cheek with Rawiller aboard.
