VORKUTA (4) returned from a spell in a BM58 over 5f at the Gold Coast last start and went close, making a late challenge only to miss by a neck. Will strip fitter today and the extra journey is to his advantage. MONACO FLYER (5) led all the way to win here first-up over five furlongs. Stayed at that distance last time and failed to make an impact in a Class 2. Needs the extra trip now and this is a step back in grade on that latest run. Watch for a return to form. THE TORQUE XPRESS (8) led all the way and gave nothing else a chance when resuming over 5f at Ballina recently. Lightly raced three-year-old with tremendous scope for improvement. Has the talent to test this line-up. DAZZLING PEACE (7) has been freshened up since a gutsy win here on debut six weeks ago. Should cope with this class rise. DIZZY DEE (1) is airborne at present so although getting up in the weights another big run is anticipated.
