SHERIFF'S STAR (5) went to the lead in a new role last start and battled on well for second over 1m at Ballina. Gets to this trip for the first time which is the query but he is going better than these and will not get too many better chances to break through. PRESSIPITATING (10) stormed home to just miss over 1 m at Grafton two back then as fair through the line over the mile at Ballina last time. Very fit mare who has had plenty of chances but can win here without surprising. KIWI HARMONY (9) has been settling back in races and working home well without threatening. Races beyond 7 ½f for the first time but it looks a good option. DURNESS (7) was safely held over 7f at Taree last start but is worth another chance over a bit more ground third-up. AWARDED GLORY (1) ran a better race at Coffs Harbour last Sunday. Untried at this sort of trip but he is lightly raced and deserves the benefit of the doubt.
