SARMAT (1) resumes from a lengthy break. Carved out good figures on debut when came from near last on the turn for a slashing third over 5 ?f at this track from the outside gate. Ran fifth in a recent trial over 4 ¾f at Grafton. Has a host of gear changes and will be strong late. DARK MODE (2) winkers go on for this at his third race start from the rails draw. Worked hard early from the sticky draw with a tiring eighth over 6 ½f at the Sunshine Coast. Can race a touch closer and play a leading role. QUI ROUGE (10) improving mare who looks set for a good prep after savaging the line for a tidy third over 5f at Tuncurry. Only has to hold that from to go close. PRESTIGE EXOTIC (7) blinkers go on for this after making his debut with a respectable fourth over 5 ?f at this track. Ready for this trip and worth thought.
