Verdict

SWIFT SOVEREIGN (4) is a promising stayer who led all the way to pick up his maiden win over 1 ?m at Eagle Farm last start. Has only raced three times and is bred to want a lot further so this new challenge looks right up his alley. ZWEIGELT (5) stepped out beyond 1 ?m for the first time recently and did a good job to hang on for second over 1 5/16m at Lismore. Has been up for a while but continues to race well. Looms as a genuine threat. CRUNCH TIME (2) stalked the pace then went home far too well in a 1 5/16m Toowoomba maiden last time out. Has not raced for 32 days which is a query but he is progressing well was pleasing to the eye in that latest win. ARTIE LADY (6) is on trial at this trip. Form around the mile of late has been solid. Trust Matthew Dunn's placement. DUNDEE TALES (3) finally found a bit of form last start and should appreciate a bit more ground at this stage of the prep.
