THE GLEN (9) stalked the pace last start before drawing clear to score by a head over 7f at this track. Has to step up from maidens but keeps McDougall and will position forward. Looks the testing material again. CHEBICI (8) is a better hope than the form line suggests. Missed by 1L here in a 66 and hasn't had much luck the two since. Has the inside barrier and gives away starts, but he can be right up there if the splits come. SURE INTENTIONS (5) is a capable enough galloper on his day, better for the first-up run. Likes to ride the pace and the 4lbs claim is handy. IT IS TO BE (4) is looking to break through after filling a minor placing at both starts this campaign, last time out when third over 1m at Canberra. Can contest.
