Verdict

PAZYRYK (3) showed good acceleration first-up for a dominant Maiden victory over 5 ½f at this track on the soft (5) surface. Expected to go on with it now in what looks a fairly thin BM64. ISSY'S STAR (4) had mixed luck on the provincial circuit last time in and expect to see a much stronger filly this campaign. Has closed well in both trials and shapes as the main danger. POWERFUL TUNE (7) fourth-up for this and gets in light with Llewellyn's 4lbs claim. Just under a month between runs when she faded in the straight to run seventh in the heavy (8) going over 5f at Taree. Taking on a better line-up this time but has the ability to mix it with them. GRINZINGER POD (1) now in the James Harding yard and returns from a lengthy break. Failed to close off with the 132lbs when fifth at Morphettville Parks in C2 grade last February. Fitted with the two trials and the 7lbs claim will help her cause.
