WHAT A GENT (10) sets the standard after going under by just over half a length at Taree, where he was near the top of an open market and again showed the consistency that has him placed three times from five runs this season. The weight relief helps as he comes from country grade into harder company. Hard to stop over this trip. BELLE CHANTEUSE (2) has more upside, being third-up after a Warwick Farm third in mid-week company, and that race experience should now count, though 1m is new ground for her. Leading contender. GOLDEN PRINCESS (7) is better than the Wyong tenth reads after being tightened shortly after the start, with her Newcastle third two back a sound reference and Jason Collett going on. Can lift from the low draw. COOL SUMMER NIGHTS (1) resumed with a Tamworth placing, has been placed twice around this trip and brings a reliable place profile, although the top weight leaves her with a bit to overcome.
