KING OF THE TOP (7) was slow into stride on debut and wound up strongly from last on the turn with a game third over 5 ½f at this track. McEvoy sticks and the winkers go on. Can race much closer today and take catching. LIGHTHORSEMAN (8) Zoustar colt from Miss Canada on debut for the Michael Freedman stable. Has shown ability in all his trials and looks to have genuine winning claims. Well drawn and the tongue-tie and cross-over noise band go on. WORLD WIDE (5) showed ability in all three runs in the first prep and returns with a host of gear changes. Wasn't pushed out in his two trials and gets map favours from the inside gate. TOUCHING HANS (4) two career starts have only been fair and should find this easier with the fast tempo anticipated. Gets a bit more galloping room today and look for him late.
