THYME TO GO (9) has the race experience, the inside draw and two trial wins since last racing to make a strong first-up case. She was placed at both runs before the break, including a third at Kembla Grange when odds-on after jumping awkwardly, and that recent trial work suggests she is ready to convert. Expecting big things this prep. STONECREST (5) is the obvious new-horse danger, a Randwick trial winner from the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott yard and a full brother to Best Of Bordeaux. His profile looks sharper than most of the debutants. PEARL OF DUBAI (8) has the deepest exposed form, having been close enough in the Listed Tattersalls Stakes before a fair Rosehill return where she was steadied, and she is better placed back from mid-week grade. No shock to see her bounce back from the good gate.
