AU - Gold Coast - Race 7

WAVERLEY (10) makes strong appeal after resuming with a fast-closing fourth here four weeks ago. The 7lbs claim, weight relief and solid wet-track record give him the right profile to go on with the job second-up. DIVINE JUSTICE (6) is the in-form danger, having won benchmark races at the Sunny Coast and Ipswich as favourite, and her record around 7f is a genuine asset. VACILLATION (8) was held up before being pipped in a CL5 at this venue, and the Adin Thompson record keeps him firmly in the winning mix. LARIDAE (3) has been readied with two nice trials and owns a 50 per cent strike rate at this track. Keeping safe.
