KING EMPEROR (5) has found his groove as he shoots for the hat-trick. The 1 ?m is new territory, but he's progressive and has the capacity to win despite not having everything his own way. MELTDOWN (3) drops back from Saturday company after finishing within just over 2L of a handy Sydney-based galloper at Doomben, although his wet-track record is the clear reservation. THE TORQUE FACTOR (2) is going great guns, leading from wider barriers to win the past two outings. Can take advantage of the low draw. THE CATCH (1) is ticking along nicely and is another that deserves respect, though he is yet to prove himself over this trip.
