DISPARATE (4) had every chance but was pretty feeble in the closing stages when fresh from a spell over 6f at Ipswich last time out. Well backed on that occasion so worth another chance coming back to 5 ½f. PARADING GUS (3) worked home well but was no match for a dominant winner when resuming over 5f at Eagle Farm recently. Nicely drawn and should be even more effective over the extra ½f today. OUR GIRL SCARLETT (8) returned in good order at Eagle Farm last time out but just felt the pinch late after doing some work up on the pace over 5f. Will be better for that run and the extra trip is ideal. LA PROFECIA (2) returns from a 20-week spell. Went okay in the maiden prep but a big recent trial win suggests he has come back in better shape. First starter HELL OF A HIGH (5) was with Bjorn Baker and recently switched to James Healy. Has trialled nicely under both mentors so she looks above average.
