He's been readied with a Gold Coast trial win, has the blinkers first time and gets in well at the weights with the the 4lbs claim. PALMANOVA (12) was poor to recover when beaten a stretch first-up for the new stable. Worth another look. BAR STAR (1) was favourite and finished strongly for second on debut at Gatton after early contact. Sure to have come on from that. Looking for big improvement from COASTAL BOOM (3) second up.
