Verdict

CATERAN (1) sat handy and was simply too good last start to bring up back-to-back wins. Chasing the hat-trick here and from what he did last start, the rise in trip doesn't appear an issue. Can extend his winning run. CANTILEVER (2) finished behind Cateran last time out when sitting on the speed, beaten 1.8L. He meets that runner better at the weights here and he has the speed to roll across from out wide. Can make his presence felt again. HILLSIDE HORACE (7) is better than we saw last time out when coming back in trip last time out, beaten a long way. Better placed here and a return to his best form is on the cards. DESERT SLEEVE (6) can take up the front from the inside barrier and is not to be discounted. MEXICAN QUEEN (9) can improve out in trip and with the fresh run under his belt.
