DIAMONDS'N'RUBIES (8) jumped well from the good draw last start and settled on the pace before fading to finish out of the money, but not too far away over 7f at Ascot. She failed to handle the quick backup that day, and with 5 weeks between runs now, she is the one to beat, especially at this easier level. BLOOD SAINT (5) broke through for his overdue maiden win last start over 7f here, scoring by 4 lengths with Natika Riordan in the saddle, who only claims 4lbs this time, but the pair have a great chance to go back-to-back.
