Verdict

PRIDE OF SAVABELLA (3) is having first run for the new yard and looks hard to beat if presents on song. Former Birchley galloper who was placed on the Sunshine Coast in a hot form race. Fitter and very well placed this level. Hard to hold out. MR GREY (8) looks the main danger. Has been super consistent since heading north, the latest a near miss at Yeppoon. Has placed 3/3 this course and distance but the one win from 45 starts makes it tough to be over confident. Can't imagine him missing the frame on recent runs though. BITOFTHEBLARNEY (1) is overdue and looks one of the chief contenders. VIKING SUN (6) has been going ok and capable of a big run. FINAL MISSION (5) is up in trip and must be considered.
