THE DEFENDER (2) is a former Victorian who has a host of placings to his name and presents on the back of an effortless trial win. Has placed 2/3 when fresh and looks hard to beat this company. Similarly, MAJESTIC CHOICE (7) is a former Victorian having first run this area. Freshened since last run and while yet to place does boast some good figures for this level, namely the first two starts when not beaten far in some good form races. Big watch. BESTOV (4) placed three on end before a close-up fourth last time at Rockhampton. Hard to beat here with a repeat of those runs. ANTHROPOLOGY (3) turned in a nice run fresh and strips fitter. Placed only try course and distance and has to be included. QUEEN OF LIGHT (9) next best. Another having first try this area.
