STREET CHASE (3) is the one to beat after missing narrowly first-up at Doomben, where he sat prominent but just lacked the fitness edge to grab the leader. Has proven effective on testing ground and the drop in trip shouldn't bother him. MERCIAN (12) brings winning form after fending them off here last time. Tougher this time but he gets in light and can give another bold sight if them reemploy the positive tactics. LEAD ME ON (4) is worth a market watch off a long break, having ended last campaign with wins at Doomben and this venue. His two recent trials suggest he can play a role fresh.
