AU - Eagle Farm - Race 8

EASY LOVE (9) was an impressive winner fresh but was less effective last time on soft ground and perhaps ridden too cold. Expecting Maloney to be much more positive on her third-up from the good draw, and for the mare to relish the firmer footing. TWISTED QUEEN (13) is the clear danger after belting a few of these at this track last start, and beating Easy Love home two back. Goes up in the weights but might be going too well for them. SIR WINNIE (11) was third behind Twisted Queen after being bumped and racing wide, and first-time blinkers plus association with Jones keep him firmly in the mix. PERFECT PLAY (1) also ran headfirst into Twisted Queen last start when proving ineffective in the tough conditions, but his Doomben win over the same mare the run prior gives him a genuine case to rebound sharply. THE DRAMATIST (8) has struck winning form and can get involved late if the pace is genuine, while NAILS MURPHY (2)is much better than his recent performances suggest.
