AU - Eagle Farm - Race 2

FELIX THE SCAT (1) is the class runner who should be near peak fitness at the third run back from a spell. Raced near the speed then held on reasonably well to finish fifth in open company last start over the mile at Doomben. Beautifully graded today and the extra 1f comes at the right time. HOVLAND (2) was performing extra well in Sydney midweek company then stepped up to BM78 at Rosehill four Saturdays ago and struggled. Can turn things around in this more suitable race. EXTRAORDINAIRE (8) has failed to feature in his four runs this campaign. Fair effort in the Listed Tatts Gold Crown most recently. Deserves another chance against lesser opposition today. DIAMOND SHOW (7) is hitting the line with gusto in shorter races of late. Ideally placed up to this trip after three runs back. Consistent three-year-old KRUMAC (9) gets beyond 1 ¹/16m for the first time but races as though he will run it out. Should go in exotic bets.
