KINDRED (5) has built nicely into this campaign and should be hitting her straps now fourth-up. Was strong to the line when tackling the mile for the first time at the latest and looks even more suited rising to 1 ?m. Gets a key switch in Thompson and looks the one to beat. SWIFT SOVEREIGN (4) comes through the same Doomben race, finishing a head of Kindred in fifth. Suspect the rise in trip will suit him too and he rates an obvious threat. KALAMIA KING (1) was only beaten a lip over this track and trip last time when doing his best work late. Blinkers go on first time to hopefully sharpen him up, though the long winless record makes him hard to put on top. PUNGWE RIVER (2) looks best of the rest but has been patchy. Suspect they look to be more positive with him this time with the sharp rise in trip and inside draw.
